Holiday let cleaning in Elie and Earlsferry

Elie lets are often larger family or group houses booked for a week at a time. A week-long stay in a big house usually means more cleaning per changeover than a weekend in a small cottage, even though the changeovers are less frequent.

Share the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and beds, and whether there is a garden, hot tub or boot room, so the estimate reflects the real work.

Guests here spend their days on the beaches, at the water sports centre or on the Elie Chain Walk, and the sand comes home with them. Entrance mats, an outdoor tap or hose, and somewhere to leave wet kit make a noticeable difference to changeover time.

Elie is busiest from Easter through to October, with the peak in the school summer holidays. Many properties are second homes let for part of the year, so a deep clean before the first guests of the season, and again when the owner returns, keeps routine changeovers manageable.

Our estimates are based on £25 per hour plus VAT. The final amount depends on the size of the property, how soiled it is and the time taken, and it is confirmed in writing before any work. Linen hire is itemised separately. A preferred date is a request, not a booking.
