Arrival impression
Doorstep and entrance swept of sand, doormat shaken, coat hooks cleared. Guests judge the whole stay in the first ten seconds.
Windows and glass doors wiped inside — sea salt film builds up fast on the coast.
Kitchen
Dishwasher emptied and all crockery checked for marks, hob and oven wiped, fridge emptied of guest food, bins emptied and relined, and inventory checked against your list.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Beds made with fresh linen, mattress protectors checked, under-bed swept. Bathrooms descaled, towels replaced, hair removed from drains, toiletries restocked.
Before you leave
Heating set to your preference, damp checked in older stone walls, damage or missing items photographed and reported to the owner, and keys returned to the safe.
